A great nights turnout, equalling our best.
The night was a busy night with lots of heats and finals, and of course it was the last night of the mardave championship with 9 racers taking part.
We had 2 visitors from the Grampian Club, Nick and Chris, Nick is such an easy guy to get along with, Chris on the other hand is ................well.......he is also a good guy   There company was enjoyable and they fitted into the darcck groove very easily. Hope to see them again  
The nights racing was very well behaved and there was a lot of fun involved, because i could here a lot of jokes and laughter all night  
John and Bryan D were having great races between them, the heats they were in were fast and clean, along with Graham and Bryan T it was the way mardaves should be driven...  
The rest of the gang also had a good night, Andy is improving weekly and has found that the throttle can be adjusted  Paul jnr Matt and Ross were enjoying the night with their tourers and had a clean uneventful race   
My car survived to live another day and was going very nicely thankyou. I think the members are now desperate to get the new track layout on the go............it will stop all you guys cutting across the flat hose pipes to catch others up. We will have it up and running as soon as we get the container in position, (then i can get my garage back to normal) 

On another matter, we had an EGM at the end of the night.(12 members attending) It was to elect a new treasurer for the klub. The perfect man was chosen for the job, Mr Gordon Dick, he has a long standing with the klub and has held other posts within the committee roles and i think he will prove to be a big asset to the klub, especially now the klub is on the move to better times

Friday 18th Nov

Bet you all thought that i had forgotten to write my bit.......  

Well, yet again i had a very enjoyable nights racing and chatting with my fellow members of Darcck The night was fairly busy and we got some good close racing in. The klub was as always in jovial spirits and fun was had by all
It was not the best turnout , but certainly not the worst we have had. The turnouts vary due to some of the members having work commitments  , wives having babies  running family members all about like a taxi service   but if the truth were known i bet they would all love to be at the klub racing  You guys need to grow a set       only kidding
Diving etiquette in the b final was wonderful, but one has to say that the gentlemen in the A final were not as well behaved as the others. You know who you are...........  On this occasion i will not mention any names, but if there are any repeats then you will be names and shamed          
To clear up something up as a result of Friday night, it is, and always has been the case of, if you want to race two classes (mardave/buggy, tourer/mardave then one has to pay for both classes, this is not a problem just something to let the members know. It has happened in the past whereby a member has paid for the two classes, but in my opinion it is a waste of money, just enjoy the night  

As Bryan T has posted., it will soon be time to renew memberships to both the klub and to the BRCA and you will be asked in the next couple of weeks to fiil in the appropriate forms  This is an easy process, nothing to complicated  

On another note 4 of us Me, Matt, Andy, Plul Jnr went up to GrampianRCC at newtonhill today (sunday). there was a good turnout, a fair bit of agressive driving, not by us i may add, but by the "loons"......"fit like furry boots". Even so it was a great atmosphere amongst all the racers...The next meet there is on the 18th December  
and had an excellent time.

klub attendance

Hi mon amis

Well what can i say, last night was our best drivers turnout with 16 taking part and to make the night another 2 members, young Matthew Little and his uncle Allan both ready to become keen races with the rest of us
There were 10 mardave drivers and both sets of heats were well matched and the finals were equally as good
There was a mixed heat with others racing tourers along with mini matt (new matthew)
driving a off rosd buggy who i may add was the most sensible of all the drivers
Andy and Paul jnr had obviously been drinking something before the races as the red mist dropped during there racing, which cause the heat to be more like a demolition derby. So it is time to start becoming a little bit more considerate when driving with others  
I AM GOING TO BE WATCHING FOR DRIVING ETTIQUETTE FROM NOW ON FROM EVERYBODY      

We had a couple of visitors from Dundee College who wanted to have a look at our klub setup, and they are going to bring a group of automotive students along for them to have a look/shot of the cars. Perhaps we may entice them across to the DARRCK side of RC cars   
Sweets and cakes were in abundance last night, i thought i was in heaven then when i looked they were disappearing fast, so i had to get in a bit on the quick side . So thanx to Paul jnr. mum to Matthew's mum and Gordon D, the goodies are always well appreciated
